DUO DU RÊVE
JANA JARKOVSKÁ – FLUTE & BOHUMÍR STEHLÍK – PIANO
from Prague, Czech Republic
We work together as a duo since 2011. Besides our duo concerts we have participated together in several master classes, such as Forum International pour Flute et Piano in Luxembourg or Sandviken Master Classes in Sweden.
Our interpretation was appreciated in various international competitions – Concorso Internazionale di Musica “Citta di Chieri”, Italy (2012) ~ 1st prize, Pro Musicis International Award in Paris (2013) ~ winner, “Salieri-Zinetti” International Chamber Music Competition, Italy (2014) ~ 3rd prize, Concorso Internazionale di Musica “Marco Fiorindo”, Italy (2014) ~ 3rd prize, ISA Open Awards (2015) ~ winner, Val Tidone International Chamber Music Competition, Italy (2016) ~ 1st prize, OnStage International Chamber Music Competition, Italy (2018) ~ 3rd prize.. We were included in the prestigious List of young artists of The Czech Music Fund for the season 2016/17.
With our art we try to bring to the audience the highest level of interpretation of classical music. However, we wish that it resonates not only in their ears but also in their hearts.
JANA JARKOVSKÁ
Jana Jarkovská (*1983) studied at the Prague Coservatoire under prof. Jan Riedlbauch and at the Academy of performing Arts in Prague under prof. Jiří Válek. In 2010 she also spent a semester within the Erasmus study internship at Conservatorio di Musica “G. Verdi” in Milan, Italy, studying under prof. Simona Valsecchi. In 2012 Jana taught at the same conservatory as an assistant professor. Between 2013 and 2015 she attended a postgraduate interpretation program in Stockholm and nowadays she studies a PhD. program in Prague. Since September 2016 Jana teaches flute at the Conservatory in Teplice, Czech Republic. Besides the traditional flute repertory she increasingly focuses on music by contemporary Czech composers.

BOHUMÍR STEHLÍK
Bohumír Stehlík (*1990 Prague, Czech Republic) started his musical studies at the Music Gymnasium in Prague under Irina Kondratěnko. After one year spent on the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague he came to Sweden, where he studied at Edsberg Music Institute, part of the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and one of the most prestigious Scandinavian music academies under prof. Mats Widlund. Bohumír has won first prizes in a number of solo competitions (e. g. Ljunggrenska tävlingen, Concertino Praga, Virtuosi per Musica di Pianoforte). He has been also awarded many scholarships, recently Swedish National Scholarship 2015. Besides Duo du Rêve he is a member of an international Ensemble D'Accord. In addition to concert activity Bohumír partly worked as a colaborative piano teacher at the music academy Ingesund at Karlstad University in Sweden. Nowadays he hold the same position at Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno.
